Mission Gold is a non-profit project created by my talented friend Nick Marzano. In Nick’s words:

Mission Gold was created in the hope of inspiring people to pay attention to what’s unfolding on the streets around them; to shine a light on the livelihoods of those too often overlooked, and reconsider what is classified as trash and what is seen as treasure.

Nick reached out to consult with me on how to take this project from his apartment and bring it to life. I began by retouching the incredible portraits and images he had captured. Next, I helped him develop a mini-strategy for organic social media, providing a flexible posting schedule, design templates, and guidance on how to maximize follower growth by leveraging Bay Area influencers and the local art community.

Since its inception, Mission Gold has released three issues, with each new one surpassing the last. Below are a collection of some of my favorite shots.
